Great design that. I'm amazed it never really took off. That shape but with a tempest/pioneer block arrangement would be perfect.

They were twice the weight of their alternatives which didn't do them any favours imo.

Sounds odd that, the two bivvies I own are the Bloxx Compact + wrap and a V2 Brolly with groundsheet, front, skull cap and utility front. I don't notice the bulk of the JRC against the Trakker to be honest, and truth be known I can have the JRC up just as quick. Even the wrap, because I use awning loops on the pegging points, just throws over and attaches to the main bivvy pegging points with about 4 pegs needed at the front. Literally takes seconds, quicker than putting a skull cap on (I don't leave mine on). I will admit the Trakker is easier to fold down though but not by much. I think the Quest shelter looks great and the price is good!

No rear vents?

bloxx-vents

The overwrap doesn't, but if i'm using a wrap then chances are I aren't bothered about having vents open

The Trakker Tempest 100 T is very slightly deeper and this is how the Specs are displayed Dimensions: Approx 150H x 235D x 250W cm.

my bed is only 200cm so for my needs these are far better ....................but I must say the price of the Quest offering is very significant

100% a tempest on angling directs twitter page has a picture of a camo tempest with the trakker logo underneath saying “we didn't see that coming”

Has anyone ordered one of these cyprinus bivvies yet and have you received them. I'm struggling to find reviews on them apart from the guy that works for them on YouTube.

There has been a few people selling them on Facebook from what I've noticed “been used once or twice”
My mate likes his although he had a problem with the centre bit coming loose which he fixed himself then a problem with one of the poles but cyprinus did replace it for him free of charge so it's all ok now.

He likes his tbh from what I've seen from it I don't think it would make me sell anything I got and buy one but if you needed a new bivvy then yeah it would be a good choice

The zip in groundsheet appeals to me, might look at selling my tempest air v2 soon and replace it with the typhoon
Are you sure?
