the price is quite surprising, I paid £30 more for my v2's
I like the look of these.Whats the cheapest deal you guys have found so far?

My first thought - I DO like the look and idea of them, I'm a long term Neville user getting a bit tired of the bodies cracking when you tighten the screws on the back after replacing the batteries..

They have brought these out because they realise no one wants 500 different settings. These are how they should have been in first place. They are not a budget version, they are a replacement, watch the v2 get phased out eventually.

im in exactly the same position......im giving delkim one last chance and it the 4yr warranty that swung it for me....the nevilles are being kept as a back up set..
I think the features on the ev -r are all that is required from a delkum and os what the digital delkim should have been from day 1. I didnt think the v2 was over complicated, just dont see the point in beep speed.
lets hope theyre waterproof!!

not complicated at all but unnecessary to have 60 different tones as an example. Why i like my RX plus. Everything you need from an alarm. The new delks look good though.

32 tones for the Ds, 8 for the Rs
There is plenty of clear information on their website as to what they have / don't .
They bought out the Rs to plug that gap since making the EV Ds obsolete- they come with 2 year warranty, 3 years if you register them online and an additional year available
If folk find the Ds complicated I do wonder how they manage with much more complex technology we have in the home / some of us work with etc etc
I'm very happy with the Ds they are their premium product with many happy users and to suggest they would be made obsolete is just daft.
As said before the price is related to making in the UK, their is a price to pay for British made products, that extra £20 you find too much for the new Rs just think about that kebab on a Friday night, not very memorable

I picked up a set....like I said previously ive had the v1 and all 3 developed the same problem...they then brought out the v2 that ironed all the teething problems out with the v1 and at the same time made the led changeable.....I didnt think they were complicated but also didn't see the need for beep speed,so many to sounds etc...
the ev-r with a 4 year warranty is worth a punt, hopefully they'll be trouble free but only time will tell
