Thanks for the replies. My walking shoe/trainers came today from Amazon. Currently listed at £105 but I spotted a short term offer and paid £60.50
I've only put them on indoors. My ideal size is 9.5 but I bought 10 which is just as well otherwise they may have been tight in the width.
First impressions are good especially the padding around the heel.
I think I'll be keeping them👍

Long term user of Merrels, usually do a pair a year. On my third pair of Salomons now, very good, but same as, gone in year but i do a lot of walking 👍
