For future reference you can buy double sided velcro.

I have similar, in a cable tie style - use them all the time!

I actually think I already have some narrow back to back velcro that I used for keeping my Shimano handles from rattling around. This wide stuff was one of those spur of the moment ideas and I bought what they had.
