Personal preference
I have two sets of reubens dials and digitals - the old skool nostalgia of the dial is great but tjhey are bulky cumbersome things and for size and ease of use I prefer my 9000 Series.

I've got the Korda digital scales. They're rebadged Reuben Heaton scales. Got them for cheaper than the RH version.

Of course it makes you smile if you see it's a 30 on the scale. If you don't smile, you're not a true carp angler.
