So many uses...other day I was under a little fifty inch brolly and wrap,was a tight swim..anyway..put rod sleeves and other stuff under it..Great kit ,no carp tax ,and probably outlast my fishing career .

my Basha saved my bacon
I went on a 3 week French trip and went to get my shelter out of the car I realised I never packed it
I drove to the nearest Decathlon store about 40 miles away and the cheapest shelter was a Fox Evo this was the original one back in 2009
well it was ok for 3 days then a bloody big storm came in but I managed to make with the aid of some para cord plus 2 x 48" storm poles and my basha a huge porch area that kept my double burner stove bait boat and everything completely dry and later the following week when temps hit mid 30s a lovely shaded area
now I never ever go fishing without my Basha

A great tale there Gerry ...like yourself I carry mine everyday, it stays in my 4x4 all the time...

I remember buying a JRC contact bivvy, nice bit of kit I thought ,then it rained ,not biblical just steady down pours ...sadly this brand new bivvy leaked ,and all over my sleeping bag as well...

So I dug out the Basha,...put it over the bivvy ..saving the session.as well..it actually made a decent little condo cap for the shelter..anyway minute I got in dried it off ,sent it back ..

Basha = session savers...
