Thats is still the case, unless said van (transit custom, VW T5's T6's etc) have a rear window, then one can drive at car speed limits

My M-Sport custom is all singing and dancing, but no rear window, so the idiots caught me and x 2 speeding fines...i hadnt got a dam clue about the limits when i bought it

ive got a contract up near Yorkshire and the A64 is full of speed vans....
70mph motorway
60 Dual carriage
50 on single
FFS i cant drive at 50mph, i know i'll save fuel with all the rising costs but i have to leave 2 hours earlier and feck me, its boring lol

I did exactly that, bought a car, road tested it up to 40mph,
50mph a violent vibration appeared, drove from London
to Normanton West Yorks, as you say fecking boring,
the car was easily fixed, turns out that the prop shaft
had been taken off and not put back in the original
position, just a case of undoing 4 bolts turn the shaft
and re fix, happy days.

That's 6 now; they stay on for 3 years after the date of the offence.

Ah - well I technically don't have the extra points yet as my license is yet to be sent off and endorsed.

with mine I had to make a decision by 4th July, paid before then
done nothing else, haven't heard a thing, is this normal, I thought
the 3 points went on the license digitally (at DVLA) not actually on
the license, first offence so haven't got a clue
