My Googling skills are shocking.....I'm trying to find the 1 piece version and found this....or am I way off?

I'm only looking to make a couple of KG at a time with a single base mix so nothing too bulk making style.

I just do the dishwasher when she goes out.
Banksticks and pegs have been known to go in as well at times.

Seen lots of table set ups on YouTube they show tables set at an angle.
Far easier to have the table mounted flat but hinged IMO.

if you're doing a few kg id defo suggest buging one of the tables mentioned below.
fishdeal or gardner. mount on some wood and clamp it down so its stable. wont take long to roll a kg or 2.

tried the hinged set up and works very well, just i get a bad back so working standing up with the table at the correct height helps my back.

Granted I'm basing my opinion on its ability to make sellable product not home rolled.
To be fair apart from a throwing stick I'm st a loss as to why any homenroller would want to make bait round, it's like giving yourself a handicap before you begin.
What all plastic tables are good for ( being a finer edge that a shilham) is a pillow shaped bait. These are very good and I particularly like them for rivers

I never roll all mine round for myself. I vary the nozzle sizes as Im gunning out my own batches, using the same table, so i get a mixture of round and barrels. I also use all the odd off cuts and bits from the end of the table. Sometimes i dont even bother rolling mine as i spod most of mine, so i just gun out the sausages and do chops.

Well not really, round ones catapult a lot more accurate than any other shape.

All boilie rollers will recommend pressed out pillow shapes, saves the ballache of rolling.
But yes, they are a great shape and I use them myself when fishing short catty range.

i normally roll a mixture, barrels pillows and rounds.
my favorite is just boiling the sausages for a few mins and breaking them off into small rounds when im fishing.
2 sides without a skin for maximum leakage, wicked for edge fishing.
boiling is also questionable at times. in the warmer months i roll the paste on the table, dust with some milk powder and freeze them, keep em in with a few ice blocks them catty them into the lake, they defrost in the water and work really really well when short session fishing.

Little tip to try. Swap out the egg for water, roll and just air dry for a few days without boiling. No good for hookbaits of course but you've effectively made slow break down pellets

When you're on cylindrical rollers it makes no difference at all, only if rolling on tables.
