Personally I wouldn't want vents in a winter wrap that I would only use in winter. Vents are for when it's hot and stuffy and personally I wouldn't chuck a wrap on a bivvy in summer. Vapour peak for summer with vents open and wrap for winter no vents required.
I own 2 bivvies with winter wraps, both have vents.. never used them once.
Really like the look of frontiers, I'm very tempted but I just don't need a third shelter right now. (So I keep telling myself) I've inspected mates frontiers on the bank and they look better than Tempests imo, more robust, better material and better footprints...

I have the standard frontier and I'm 6ft 2”, I love it, bed doesn't touch the sides and I find it's actually not that low at all and plenty of room for a couple of nights

Hmmm.
Not sure wraps are for winter only.
They help keep the bivvy cooler too in summer I have found
So having vents is absolutely what you do want.

If the skin had windows I would never have returned it, I prefer a skin over a vapor peak even in summer it keeps the bivvy cooler.

I'm from Belgium but in my town is also a Sailmaker that could do it but if you want it decent you should have 2 wraps so that the windows can be made of the same material, it will cost a bit.
Maby on a day there is someone new at Fox who is smart and they will still come up with a skin with windows.
After 5 years the options could have been worked out better same goes for the new camo versions: no camo wrap

Massive oversight really the absence of vents in the wrap, that said, I'm still buying one for my XD. I will be taking it along and throwing it over mine when there's a bit of rain on the way. Far easier to keep the bivvy dry with that oversheet so for that reason alone for me it's a no brainer.
Anyone know where the XD overwraps are on sale less than £204 each I'm gonna pick one up next week?

That's an option mate. I can see that being £50 a vent easy. I'm not in that much of a rush to be honest, the thing that hacks me off is I'll buy one of these and before you can blink an "overwrap +" will appear and I will of wasted £200.

Brilliant bit of kit mate the Frontier, you wont regret buying one. I caved too and got the XD despite having three other bivvies
Don't regret it at all, but bloody glad I got the bill out of the way last year

Saw the fox Frontier X yesterday, was actually surprised that it didn't feel so low, I'm thinking of swapping my Frontier XD with a Frontier X camo.
