So, I have just had a good play with them to make sure what I am saying is correct.
I have the jag snag ears, I have them extended as far as they can go. Extended to the max they are too long for the case.
I have TXI D's, with the snag ears and the delkim hard cases. When you collapse the pod the two Alarms touch each other face to face, they are then too wide for the case. However if you didn't have the snag ears sooo high, the case would close but it would bulge at the top.

Morning Stuart, on the 7&6" sticks (Front of both black & stainless) our snag ears will fit in the bag when on their tallest setting. The only time it gets a little tight is when chunkier alarms stop the pod folding up tight against the main bar. This is easily sorted rotating the alarms so they meet back to back using the locking lever on the banksticks.

Wrap it in cling film with all the decorations still on and chuck it in the loft.Take out next year,10seconds later it's set up
