What a **** show. Regardless of who you support the fact is the season was decided by a totally incorrect application of the rules never seen before during a GP.
Massi himself insisted at the Eifel GP in 2020 the sporting regulations were clear and that ALL cars must unlap themselves before the Safety Car could come in.
It can't be a coincidence that he changed the decision that lapped cars would not be allowed to overtake only after Horner got into his ribs. And then only the cars between Lewis and Verstappen.
It's inconceivable that such an arbitrary decision was made in the last laps of the final race of the season against all the regulations and custom and practice.
Cui bono? Well it certainly wasn't Lewis/Mercedes.

I remember the Eifel GP with Norris' engine problem.
That right there is the reason Masi has to go.
It would be bad enough to finish a regulars season like this but to take away an all-time championship record is unforgivable.

Hamilton may now be punished as he did not attend an fia event,the top three drivers are expected to attend.He has broken the rules a statement has said,I dont know how they dare.Hamilton could end up walking away from F1,I would not blame him at all if he did

I dont think he'll care less if he gets fined tbh. It's whether he can get his head round what happened last week that'll make the difference.
There is no way Merc will leave having just spent hundreds of millions and countless man hours on the new car over the past 2 years. Toto could leave I guess but Merc will be on the grid next year imo.

If Merc do get shirty they could stop supplying engines to other teams when their contracts run out. That would **** the FIA right off.
Masi sacked, and no matter what your views are on Hamilton, it's very clear he was absolutely stitched up
