That's a nonsense argument...you are not legally able to carry a knife or any other item for self defense in the U.K, you certainly can carry a gun legally in the U.S on a state by state basis and can use that gun for self defense where laws permit...like Kenosha.
I'll add: if this all happened with a black kid for instance and the black kid reacted to black kids doing the same as what happened to Kyle, I'd commend him. I'd go as so far as to say that if any colour you want to pick was being attacked by any other races, again, same goes, hats off to defending yourself from a vicious attack.

He wasn't there as a medic. He was there as an agitator for violence, and boy, did he get what he wanted - killed three people.
It shouldn't take some random from another state to "help protect property that was being looted and burned" - the industrial military complex (e.g. the police) are more than capable of carrying out that role.
Civically minded does not equate to shooting dead your fellow human beings.
Conflating travel between internal and external borders is simply daft.
