However it happened it's a real shame for the people who have put time into the fishery. Not my thing, but for what it was the stock was impressive, hopefully they don't lose many.

It has to be said that gigantica is one of if not the most honest fisheries in France...
How many lakes would immediately remove fish from their site fish pictures that have passed, how many lakes would Immediately inform people of an outbreak of disease??
Fair play to them, they are an example.of how to run French fisheries properly.
I have been told that Simon is or was onside assisting with the problem and that bookings have been cancelled.

Nail on head. Gigantica could not have been more honest here. Firstly they are one of few fisheries in France which have not just stolen their stock from public waters and secondly they have broadcast that they have a problem. I really feel sorry for them yet people are trying to twist and suggest that there is an unsaid story.

Gigantica provide all the equipment you need for landing and weighing. So highly unlikely it was brought on site by visiting anglers.
The main lake sits on the North side of the road with the river to the north of that, no other English owned lakes flood in that general area, not even the road lake, which is South of the main lake. So, no other English owned holiday lakes will have been effected. hence no other lakes reporting an issue.

Classic modern day Korda bashing responses from some ITT. Shameful.
In my opinion Korda, and in particular Danny Fairbrass, do way more for thr modern day (and future) carp scene than any others. Investing his own time and money in to such projects as the Embryo waters back this up.
Gigantica is unquestionably one of the best, most forward thinking waters in France. They have invested a lot of time and money in to the stocking programme (i.e. stock ponds, only fish bred on site introduced to their waters etc), not to mention providing all fish care equipment. This must be a painful blow to them. Anyone knocking them or suggesting foul play needs to give their head a wobble
