Naa, people pay the high price so why go back, more cost effective for a manufacturer to make the same or more profit from less product as it reduces overheads.

I think you'll see the end of closed seasons on the river as we know it.
I think it's a real possibilty that with climate change the seasons changing that the traditional closed season needs to be moved or lost altogether.

more and more lakes and rivers will see rises in people stealing fish and ducks ,swans etc for the pot
as we are simply unable to police it well enough and those that are caught get off too lightly so no real deterrent
any tackle AND VEHICLES being used should be confiscated and destroyed would be a start when they realised they would lose their wheels I think it would make them think twice ?

Thing is, most people now don't own their own vehicles. There's probably something written somewhere that means they cannot confiscate them as they are owned by a lender rather than the person driving it. When was the last time you heard of a car being crushed for not paying tax etc?
