You need stability to do what you want, which means heavy and expensive. Unless you got a titanium defiant
I've seen all the jag pods and think they're all very well made. Knowing what you wanted, you couldn't have made a worse choice really. Jag will 100% sort out any quality issue though

I think I might just keep this for my lightweight Dymag mobile set-up and revert back to my hard as nails Criss Brown pod for the big pits I regularly fish which I won't be worried about anything snapping as there's nothing to break.
£500+ large already in, when will I ever learns?

what have jag said about it? I'm sure they'll change it but want that 1 back to have a look at it to investigate what's failed.

I'm not doubting the customer service. Just seems a fair few people on this thread alone have had to use the customer service. May not be for faults, as you mention, but it was my first thought reading through. Main thing with this stuff is that it gets sorted if there's issues, and doesn't sound like there's a problem with that to be fair.

They got back to me this morning after watching the video I sent them and want me to send all 4 inners back to them to check what has gone wrong 👍

. . .I think your spot on with this - most of todays pods are made for manicured, flat and level swims and are far too lightweight to use with anything but the loosest drag. Most people I see using them don't even push the legs into the dirt for fear of scratching) god forbid . . .the nbrice one I saw the other day was pencil thin and looked like a roach take could easily drag the whole lot in . . .
I've just bought a new Solar A1 jobbie (in the search for weight reduction) but have not used it in anger yet . . .will be keeping my battered quattro and all associated banksticks in the car just incase!
