Exactly. I've always used what I think are the best alarms I can buy, rather than getting something because it is different to everyone else's alarms or something else looks good. Some off comments below - I don't want my alarms sounding the same as the bloke in the next swim - err, change the tone? Delkims common as muck, so I use something else? Really? There's a reason so many people use Delkims, they are the best. The new D, which I upgraded to this year are simply awesome. Of course if you want to buy second rate gear just to be different, crack on

I got my wife R3s and she loves to play with them when we fish. I simply just don't like the buzzer.

I'm based in the wrong country... Most of the good tackle shops that sell the unique items I want doesn't ship to South Africa... Once I'm finaly in the US I will send the Nevs in for stainless casings.... Browsed the net and fell in love with the buzzer... Would look good with my stainless bankware

I don't think you can you can recase plastic nevs to stainless. You'll need to buy a second hand set of the nash nevs or be prepared to dig deep for a used set of Stainless Steve neville alarms - if you can find any.
