Just made the filling for my great grans old time( I'm 65) meat and tater pie recipe. Will bake the pies in a melt in the mouth short crust pastry tomorrow. Sorry, too emotional to write any more.

I was with you all the way until the Peppercorn sauce, I'd be more a Redcurrant or Blackberry based sauce with that.
