Not sure if it is the slightly thicker diameter of my braid but don't think I have had more than one tangle, bit of water splashed on beforehand and maybe a half distance cast to wet more of the line before going for a longer chuck.
Super Power braid by KastKing in 40lb, 0.30mm is the one I have been using.

I was using Berkley Whiplash 8 in 30lb and had it snapped 3 times in 48 hrs?
I tested it and it breaks at 14lb! Since im now trying the 40lb which seems stronger.

The diameters are super thin for the stated Bs, even compared to other 8 strand braids, its not surprising it breaks well below.
40lb daiwa is .24, 87lb whiplash 8 is .25

Yep, bs is BS
Buy braid by diameter. So where you would use 8 or 10lb mono, use .24-.30
That's why I'll happily use 60-80lb at .35ish to fish with
