Personally I would never buy a memory foam bed
I made the mistake when I retired of spending an absolute fortune on the best memory foam mattress I could buy at the time
what a mistake it was a hot summer and it does not breath and so I was boiling hot and soaking wet with sweat I sold it 5 weeks later at a loss of over £400
I bought a pocket sprung mattress with no problems
A SIM is not an air mattress used correctly the good quality ones dont make you over heat and support you correctly if not over inflated

I've got a couple of SIMs - the Helium 3.8 for my compact bedchair (because its a narrow SIM) and a wider cheaper £20 Amazon job that fits my standard bedchair better that I've owned for longer.
I can categorically say that they both deliver the same levels of comfort, irrespective of brand. Personally think you need to find the SIM that fits your bedchair (the inner section inside the padded bedchair perimeter) to negate it moving around too much as you move in your sleep.

I have an indulgence and indulgence emperor depending on if i take the dog or not.
Would i removed the foam bottom to the bed and then replace with a SIM?
