They have become cult.
All cult items command outrageous prices, just look at ss3000's they go for almost double what a set was worth new now. Same with original terry Hearn rods, and other cult reels

I've all 3 good coffee table books,( read odd chapter here and there) as is the forgotten chapters..

I agree, you can read them for 5 mins or 5 hours. Great books.

I sold the first five issues of that on ebay last year for over £80. Couldn't believe it!!!!!!

they felt a little weaker than Sub, still nice to thumb through
perhaps the numbers brought tailed off?
to anything together like that is going to take a huge amout of effort and work.
ALot of people reckon that print is dead, for me high quality printed material isnt, i love high quality printed stuff
its not disposable but needs to be done right.
if there is another "sub" i will get one.
other printed works like fallons angler and water log are still about but they are not monthlies and i think this is where print has to change
less frequent&higher quality
