Nearly a year on and only 6 bites with non landed over probably 30. nights.

Nice to hear an update. Sounds like they are not bites and fish mouthing the bait such as bream, beeps or possible small flicks on the line, liners , have you had screaming runs, can you feel a fish kicking, could you feel a hook pull?
How long is your rig and what are you using?
I will ask you a question mate. Are you going to do the same again this year? because if you are, I am been honest, expect much of the same
I have read the thread again and there is a lot of good advice.
My advice is the same, look for the shallower spots, bait them and fish them. Let me us know how you get on. Wish you all the luck possible

I was fishing solid bags... the lake only holds perch and carp.
It's renowned for a lot of lost fish due to the drop offs and weed. I'm going to get on the zigs this year along with the solids.
Standard bag set up 12mm pop up on a basic soft braid set up.
It will come I'm sure.
