seen these at the show today,for the money these are exceptional rods, obviously i havent played a fish or cast withbthem,but in the hand theyre lovely and light,felt nice in the hand,nice length handle,nice mat black finish with minima rings.if i was in the market for a 9 or 10ft rod these would be my first choice rather than dwarfs for sure, and with spod rod in the pipe line aswell this range of rods will be a massive hit for sure

Same here, seen em today and had a good bend with a bloke on the stand. Impressed by them for the show price of £50 each.
A mate bought 3 yesterday with some Penn reels for same price as 2 Gnash Scope rods of 10ft 3.5tc

Does anyone now it the Sonik rod sleeves will fit scope rods I see there a lot cheaper and look good quality?

Going to order 4 and give them some stick.. only feedback I've heard is the handles are short so first guide is miles from the spool but blanks seem kosher.

Lol... they probably wouldn't last the journey to find one mate let alone land it.
Bit on the Thames and a cough cough self invitation venue. They won't be looked after that's for sure!

Old thread, but just want to say that i'm using these rods (in corked version) for over a month now and i really love them!
Using the 10ft 3.5lbs version and they're pretty powerfull.
Been using 5oz solid bags at distances up to 60yds, even though i feel i haven't reached the limits yet.
Playing a fish on them is not the greatest fun, but i have no problem with that.
I you're looking for an affordable set of short(er) rods, buy with confidence.
Using the 10ft 3.5lbs version and they're pretty powerfull.

I dont have time to fish for more than about 3 hours at a time at the moment so i bought 2 of these in 9ft 3.5lb
Great little rods that ive used for everything from big pva bags to surface fishing. Pack up tiny and fit in an old infinity unhooking mate. Very pleased with them
