I still use my original TXi`s, but one of the antennas has broken and is now sat along the bottom of the alarm due to a very shoddy self repair attempt; but despite this it still works, still connects to the receiver and doesn't miss a beat even in the rain. Probably tempted fate now but they are 19 years old and still perfect. Hard to replace them when they are that solid.

I'm gonna do a test tomorrow with a old wychwood alarm it might not have all the delks bells and whistles but I bet it works after 20 seconds deep in a bowl of water then a quick shake off... il film it for proof then il soak it for 10 mins it might still work lol

Same here, I've had microns and atts over the years so decided to treat myself to the new delks and I'm really happy with them (so far!)

So ive just gone for a set. Still have my Rx+. Will do a side by side review when they arrive. Try and get out with them. The Rx+ will take some beating, but miss the delkim sound

Sort of toying with both of them as me pal just had my alarms so alarmless at the mo

Both look bang up to date my last fox alarms were something like a dxr that had both roller and vibro but I'm going back a bit real good but old tech now

I used mine for a week and they worked flawlessly. I loved my ecus which replaced my old txis as my main set of alarms but I can't see myself using them again.
They were fine is torrential rain, heat etc. Not really got my head around the beep speed yet but default settings seem fine and response about half way for the conditions I was fishing in.

They do look very good alarms and receiver but jesus christ how much setting up do they take.Press these buttons for this press that button for another and the night light function on the receiver is not as good as on the fox rx+ receiver imo that's just one nice white light not too bright either.I really can't see me changing

Can someone tell me how in this day and age that Delkim are still allowed to price fix their alarms ?

Threatening shops with loosing their account if they give any discount, they are not even allowed to give you voucher to spend in the shop on other items!

What else would you buy in a fishing shop at a minimum of £550 and expect no discount?

Fishing tackle is a strange industry.

People seem to go back direct to a company than take stuff back to a shop, as you would in pretty much any retail situation. Go direct to Nike over a pair of faulty trainers and see how you get on.

And discount is expected. Walk into a Louis Vuitton shop and ask for a discount on a £500 bag. See what they say.

Now I'll take a discount if I can get it, but certainly won't moan if I can't get one
