Had mine a couple of weeks now, used for four day sessions and had nine fish up to mid 20s. Really nice clutch and fantastic line lay I'm well happy with mine.

what are these reels like for line going behind the spool, more so with wirey lines

Not experianced any problems yet, shim tech line on mine, but line guard is basically spool lip running on rubber seal, could be a weak point.

Does anyone know, if this reel makes the line twisted? Is there any twist buster solution?

Every single Fixed Spool Reel ever made generates line twist, how much all depends on how much you let the Spool spin with the Bale Arm closed (Clutch slipping) Its just the inherant design flaw of fixed Spool type Reels.
~ Big Pit style Fixed Spool Reels are the best of the bunch thou, as Bigger Spools = bigger Coils of line on the Spool = less Twists per given length of line.

Nothing can help, as every single time your Bale Arm does one revolution = 1 twist , which from first loading the line is not a problem, its when you then let this line come off the spool via the Clutch Slipping, you then wind back in and the Bale Arm adds more Twist per revolution and so on............ Until it gets out of hand ( Starts Wrapping around the Top eye on its own for fun)
Then out comes the Spin Doctor to remove it.

Just thought I would update , I have used these for a week in France and I thought they were pretty good , am going again next week for another session .
All I will say is when reeling in if you close your eyes and listen ...........just like the advert they sound like a golf
