You're conflating reasoning, rationalization, comparisons and then whatever else that you might be making up in your head, to then equate support; you're incorrect with those assumptions.
I've said that I can see why he (Putin) invaded, that's very, very different to saying I support him.
So we're all clear: I don't think Putin should have invaded - I can see why he did given he was pushed into a corner by the US and by extension NATO - I don't want to see Ukrainian soldiers die, nor Ukrainian civilians die, nor do I want to see Russian soldiers die. I'm anti war.

The thing is Putin has changed his mind on a few times on the reasons why he has invaded. If you have a story, then surely you stick to it, not change it when things arent quite going the way you think they are.

That scheme looks like a success waiting to happen. I mean nobody would exploit the system and scam millions, that never happens.
The same system wouldn't house women and children with potential rapists or murderers either.

Haha. All the Covid experts / virologists are now extending their generosity and activating their recently dormant Soviet history knowledge, and knowledge from their political degrees in Eastern Europe. (and it seems the Middle East, as well).
I really should have looked here for the latest news these past two years. Never knew we were in the presence of such intellectual prowess. Its amazing that so many are outwitted by a fish with a brain the size of your thumb nail as much as they are. But there you go.

I've not seen anyone claim that they're an expert on Covid or the war in Ukraine. If you can point me to where these so called experts are, as clearly thats escaped me, I'll be glad to see it.
What you might be seeing is people discus current events, search out relevant information, they might even have some deep insight or interest in a certain subject, and then post them on these boards. You see, not everyone watches mindless TeeVee soaps, celebrity garbage, empty, vacuous music or are informed by the vomit passed on as news these days; maybe that might be a surprise to you?
Something else worth musing over is that although someone might not be able to describe in detail the exacting measurements of an internal combustion engine, hell, even be able to design one, that shouldn't be any disclaimer from being able to grasp the concepts, or is it that only 'experts' can chime in on, and the mindless vassals should just quit their silly little voices in their heads and leave the mega brain 'experts' to opine?
