Well, the mandatory mask wearing is going down well.......I have just been to Milton Keynes Shopping centre and would say it was 50/50.

You're a better person than most, Mal. Having lost the only thing you statistically needed to protect I would 100% be as adherent and respectful of the ‘rules' as I am.
I shared a few beers and laughs with the old boy next door who's kids were too afraid to visit last Xmas. He died of cancer a few months later that got diagnosed as a bladder infection via Skype during lockdown.

You're both missing the point.
Boris won't need to 'cancel Christmas ' because everywhere will be shut with staff off isolating. They may well be 'fine' but they won't be delivering your Christmas pressies.
The anti mask / ant vax brigade are just making it easy for him. And he doesn't deserve that

I wouldn't be surprised in 2-3 weeks time we hit 150k + cases a day, with all the isolating the country could be in danger of coming to a stop. Interesting times

Well nearly two years in and I haven't had covid but bumbling Boris has.I must be listening to his rules better than he is,I took my mum out for dinner last week and the amount of people not wearing a mask was quite surprising.I think like Wayne has said people have had enough

Like I said right down below, I'm vaxxed and wear a mask purely because I see so many different people. In London covid is rife, I know of four people who tested positive today. I can see it getting quite bad again to be honest. January Lockdown it looks like imo. Still having a party at Christmas, **** Boris

Started feeling better now but have had the sneezes, sore throat, fatigue etc. I'm in a hotspot too apparently... if I'm still alive in a fortnight I'm guessing I'll be winning the antibody race
I read somebody earlier stating omni had cold symptoms because of the antibody response of the vaccine. So maybe I've had previous variants?
I've been ill about a dozen times since the pandemic began and expect I've had a few because I've taken very very few precautions
Might put some blood plasma on eBay. Probably about 20% thc too!

Does anyone know why the government pulled antibody testing (about a year ago) I think they were just about to become available from the likes of superdrug and others, and the govt pulled it.
I've read a few people saying antibody testing would be useful, any thoughts anyone? Would it give people a false (or true!) sense of security? Is the test not accurate?
