Agreed. To be honest, despite it not wanting to be a backpeddling podcast, the second one was exactly that. I saw the length of the podcast and thought "ah, here comes the arse covering exercise"
The first podcast had more than enough info to implicate certain individuals, and both podcasts seem to contradict who they were poionting the finger at. I guessed two of them just whilst listening. Days prior, a bait company was bragging that one of the anglers caught a quarter of Farriers stock in one hit. I mean, come on. We all know on 99% of waters, especially any water worth its salt, If you're clubbing them on one spot, it's going to go quiet at some point. The fact that a quarter of the stock decided to nail themselves tells you something about carps intelligence. After all, it's not the bait or it's additions is it........................................ (sorry, I leaned on the keyboard. Honest)
As I said in a previous post, no-one is going to risk losing their livelihood and get into financial difficulties by losing a court case over bloodworm liquid.

Can't really see any of those accused having any credibility going forward. Like someone said before, there are much better anglers than them but for some time their catches have been unusually high. Interesting manifold has been mentioned, dont know him from anything but crete lakes match which again for an average angler did exceptionally well.

The types of waters they're fishing pay a big part in it too, all these suspected anglers are fishing the same type of lakes, heavily stocked day tickets full of bigguns. I'm in no doubt they're fantastic anglers and can really capitalise on a situation in front of them but I don't recall any of them fishing any real head banging waters fishing for the biggest carp in the country, instead they're playing the numbers game on day tickets and picking up the big ones inbetween.
IF this is true and they're using some sort of hormone that groups the fish up directly over your rigs, there's no good using it on somewhere with 20 fish in 50 acres, those heavily stocked lakes play right into the scenario.
There's some sort of truth in this, Kev Hewitt said as much in the podcast before back tracking and saying it's bloodworm
Those goons putting out that Defamation of character and libel statement last night was just them trying to nip this in the bud.

It's not being widely used because it's a prescription medicine with good reason as someone has already stated it can induce abortions in mammals !!

From what info I've managed to search out – there's a synthetic hormone that was developed to mimic the natural hormone signal all fish species release to tell each other to congregate in an area to spawn.
And was developed in Australia/America so it could be used to congregate all species into a selected area to electro fish or net all the invasive species out ,while being able to still return native species back unharmed.
