No the Thinking Anglers wood sleeve does not contain the reel, the standard sleeves do though and I use one for my spod and marker, the draw string draws against the reel so it’s fully protected.

Ah, I'll need to purchase another then - because I only picked up 3x...

I've downsized from 5 to 4 rods, dropping a dedicated spod/marker set up - now just using 1x rod for both. Loop method for quick change 😉

Did they change the TA sleeves?

I bought one last week and it has an adjustment on the elasticated bit, then I bough three from another shop and they don't have that adjustment



The boxes are slighty different, but the product code is the same and the ones without the adjustable strap say they hold 12 and 13 footers



Wondering if a batch has possibly been made wrong?

All mine have the adjustable elastic like the picture on the right.

Ive had mine around 3 years and in Camflex if that makes a difference
