I use the solar p1 anti twist drop in sticks with bazzbars, they dont seem to make them anymore so obviously wasnt a popular design, no idea why though, as they work really well, no issues with any twist. And really easy to set up.

as others have said, a nice thick washer or even a hard rubber o ring works wonders. I've had some buzzbars where they don't move at all on a take and others where they come undone easily. it could be down to the tolerance of the threads.

Buzz bars are fine . . .if you fish slack clutches. Anything else they are a pita . . .

I’ve used 2 & 3 rod buzzer bars for over 30 years and never once had one unscrew itself from a bank stick without me deliberately doing it, even with tight clutches. In fact, I often have to lay the bar along my thigh and use both hands on the bank stick to really get a good grip to crack it off. Once freed off, it’s as loose as anything to unscrew and dismantle. Can only imagine your sticks and bars have way too much slack in the threads that stops you locking them up properly?
