I'm amazed no one has made a decent lightweight inflatable mat because the backpacking industry have had this technology for years.
This is what I'm using below.
I part inflate it and fold it in half. I've made an elastic strap to hold it folded and I've made a nylon cover for it. All together it weighs 800g and packs down very small (25cm x 10cm x 25cm). The mat on its own is 415g.

Bought it and returned it as it was a real pain. The sides never inflated not even when I tried blowing it up myself. A terrible piece of kit.
