If that tub is pretty well sealed then they will be fine ....... No need for vacuum packing etc.

They'll be fine. I fish the rivers for carp and always on the look out for cheap boilie bundles, often near to or expired, that I can use to prebait. Loads of shelf lifes have expiries but I'm yet to see them turn even after a year.

A couple of years ago I threw out a bucket of shelflifes, about 5kg. They smelt, felt and looked exactly as I remembered them from when I got them in about 1994.

Reminds me of the McDonald's chips you find down the side of your car seat, look good enough to eat but you know you last ate a Big Mac meal in the car three years back.
