Because he's cheaper than the DNA site if you need bait straight away and are local to him.
For example if I need 5kg of bait I can go and pick it up for £35 whereas it would cost me £52.50 from DNA and have to wait for delivery

Exactly this, plus I can just pop round there on a whim and collect and not have to have the box dumped on my doorstep a few days later after paying website prices.
