My second session on my new syndicate this weekend I baited Bout 2 kgs of bait on spot, then fished over a small hand full about 2 rod lengths away, resulted In the lake bigge at 47lbs plus 4 other runs from that area vs 1 from the bait..... I also had a lot of the better fish from elstow from the rods to the side of the bait 😀

Well done on your 30 Paul
Personally I don't think you can draw any conclusions, other than your result is anomalous compared to the previous number of sessions. The only way to be conclusive is to become consistent in your catches.
Enjoy it for what it is, you put bait where they wanted it, when then wanted it, and you might have tweaked your presentation in your favour

Same as Vossy, congratulations on the fish
But I wouldn't read too much into your findings using one occasion, there's too many variables and it's so easy to fall into confirmation bias.
Now you've caught one 30 hopefully the odds will be on your side and it won't be too long before you get another
