Didn't know you could get the bucket with chest straps. I have one with a carry handle which is it's one negative. Thanks for that.

The snugpak poncho is decent, plus they do a liner if its chilly.
I expect the military stuff is very similar if not the same.
I have had the helikon one as well. The hood was better fitting (but no peak) and it was all round better made.
Military 1st has a load for you to choose from

As below ive got the scope poncho - alsio used to have the snugpack one plus the additional thermal liner

the nash isnt as wide if that makes sense as the snugpak - imagine wearing that with a backp[ack on if that makes sense - the snugpak packs up into a tiny little stuff sack on its own - the thermal liner is a good addition but for me I prefer the nash version

Found a nash poncho in sale so think will pull the trigger on it . Is the thickness of material quality?
