I agree . Fish tight lines . Defo no back lead or slack line .. I fish 3 on the spot on my local rezo . Fishing 100 yards +..very very rarely do I get rods taken out by fish.
I fish my lines bolwstring tight . Doesn't affect my captures 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 ....
I always recast straight away after a fish and more than once recently it's the recasted rods that goes again ..

I would want more than a 15 yard spread.
The opposite for me. At extreem range 15 yards is probably as tight as is achievable. But at up to 80 yards or so, I aim to fish with all three literally inches away. Always fish a very tight line, and generally once a fish bolts it's out the way if the other rods straight away. Worst case if it picks up another rodits because the line is under the other one so just thread it through.
I wouldn't consider 15 yards on one spot, I think most of your troubles will go away if you fish much tighter, all your lines will be at the same depth and easier to manage.

Also, the suggestion of Individual bank sticks is the absolute opposite of what I would want. You need buzz bars, with the rods straight and level, so that you can look at the line comming from the tips and see that they aren't crossed. You want tramlines.

Two rods. Individual.banks sticks, high tips going at spot at opposite angles on bank so you can , if you need to , play a game of over/under the other line that doesn't get the take....

Everyone has there own way of doing things, and your way is the absolute opposite of mine.
I fish pretty exclusively with 3 on a spot, everywhere I go. I cast all 3 at exactly the same line, then afterwards decide if it's the left right or middle rod from the line angle. You want big leads and tight lines. Tight lines won't tangle when it goes under the other, it just rubs untill you thread that rod under. Backleads are a no go for this reason, they will tangle
And keep your rod tips low, it reduces the chance of fish going under them.

Yeh I fish rod tips high as I'm used to fishing over weed beds, i don't like idea of slack lines, but I also decided after casting if it left or right , as my casting can be a bit wayward lol

Yeah weed beds make it all awkward. Even a tight line can look like the lead is in one place and it's in another

As some have said.. tight lines, no back leads. Also fish tight clutches and make sure you loose the lead.
I always want them to kite to one side or the other, and get them to the upper layers asap. Then play them with side strain rather then you tip vertical in the air to keep them up in the water.
