Isn't the whole point of using sweetcorn is too....well just use sweetcorn besides it doesn't need a flavour

well thats one way of looking at it but if your fishing a water thats seen a lot of sweetcorn I have found its a big edge making it different

and only in my experience of course but as posted my Pineapple flavoured and Garlic flavoured sweetcorn really works well I was catching while others around me were blanking Exactly the same with Tiger nuts too the small things can make the biggest difference
look around see what others are doing and do something different has always been my motto

I've never found any difference between canned or frozen sweetcorn and will happily use either, but, if its claimed that tinned is best, could it be because tinned has salt added as a preservative and frozen does not having just looked at labels on a bag of frozen and a tin.

And we all know how much people like to add salt to bait as its a well known attractor.

Sweetcorn, you won't find that anywhere near my plate. so I'm no expert. But someone once told me that the tinned is a lot more softer than the frozen stuff? Maybe that's the reason a lot of people recon it's a lot better.. A lot more palatable, Maybe?

It's because tinned is cooked , frozen isn't

Didn't Simon Scott catch most of his Wraysbury fish on bright orange tutti flavoured tinned corn?

Tinned corn is the best, and well worth liquidising a bit of it. All the tiny bits will keep the fish going nuts for ages.
You can buy tins of creamed corn that are ideal for adding to some pellets and chops to get something extra going on if you are not adding loads of corn.

well over 16 years ago while mainly fishing in Europe I started using Pescaviva Natural White Sweetcorn while everyone else was using the normal yellow or maize

and Pescaviva had something like 10 different flavours Scopex ,Cheese,TuttiFrutti, Vanilla ,Strawberry, Giant Prawn,Trout Pellet ,Aniseed are some that I remembered not tried them all though

and then to cut down costs I started flavouring my own and they all seemed easily as effective and in some cases Im certain they worked better

but use whatever you feel confident in but make your own mind up dont be put off by people`s opinions that havent really used the options
Are you sure?
