I just gel my hair into the shape of a seasonal hat.
Ive got 3 hats depending on weather conditions, a cap for the summer, a waxed glen hat for when it is really heavy rain, and the fur lined trapper hat for the winter..
I actually dislike wearing anything on my head, so I only wear them if needed. I cant even stand putting the hood up on my hoodies,

Got one of those and a leather wide brim same style, also a tweed flat cap and Barbour wax cotton one .not a fan of baseball caps but the large peak ones are good for keeping the sun off the glasses when fly fishing in bright sunshine.

I use a variety, love my Fjallraven g1000 cap, slightly different shape and peak angle to a baseball cap. Often used in conjunction with a merino buff. A couple of woolly hats I've picked up over the years for when it's cold, wet or mozzies are bad.
