Watched it and thought it was good. Good videography, almost a bit ‘the gentleman' style. And fair play to him putting the effort in. Like others have said, not my cup of tea as venues go, but cool backdrops, thing for me would me who's walking past at any time of night. Sad state of affairs that you have to worry about your gear and more importantly your life but that's the world we live in

Really enjoyed watching this, really good angling, no horrid drum and bass and some really good tales.

Been watching Jacob since he started the London Carper video. Always a good watch. Gets my full respect( as does Alfie Russel) for fishing those urban venues along with the not so quite desirable elements of society. Thought the beginning was a bit 'Lock Stock....'style .. enjoyed this immensely.
been watching more videos from Jacob the London Carper, seems like a level headed fella, and a lot less "wired" than some of the current presenters.

It's nice to see a mix to be fair. As much as the whole drum and bass side of things isn't for me, it appeals to a new section of anglers and hopefully brings more people on to the sport.

At some waters it has become like Glastonbury with fishing gear thrown in! excessive noise till the early hours, shining high powered lights all over the lake with scant regard for anybody else every time a fish shows, having a conversation with the guy 3 swims down about how good the latest batch of green is, I recently confronted a group such as this, and half the group were not even fishing but just turned up 'cos the pubs had shut.
I like to think I'm not alone in this kind of scenario, and I like music of many and varied genres, but not at a carp lake, the trouble is new guys see these "influencers" promoting these moneymaking gadgets and acting this way and them attempt to emulate that behaviour, I might come across as the grumpy old guy,but,,,as I often say,
my appearance is 100% down to me,,
my attitude however is the result of those around me.

One argument for greater numbers would be greater representation. If the doom mongers are correct and there is a movement to ban coarse/pleasure fishing it's harder to push through if more voters object.
What we need is more well run fisheries with less emphasis on profit.

I'm glad to say I haven't had an experience like that for over 20 years now which is when I stopped fishing poorly mismanaged lakes where cash is king and bums on seats (so to speak) is all that mattered.

Because without more people fishing the industry will die, tackle shops will go under and there won't be a sport to protect
