Im a weber fan boy have a go anywhere and a smokey joe for fishing/camping and a gbs and spirit for at home - so much you can do on them that its a minefield and a money pit if your not careful as it is addictive but definitely great bits of kit

Take my Cadac Safari Chef when the weathers warmer. Runs on same gas as my ridgemonkey and i like they way it folds down.

IMHO the Cadac Safari Chef 2 is a far better more versatile bit of kit

I have the safari chef 2 hp and absolutely love it. Does anything from boiling your kettle to cooking a curry to grilling some meat. One of the best purchases I have done for fishing
The one thing it fails on though is for steak its no good. Nowhere near hot enough for a good sear cooks the steak more then anything.
Apart from that imo the perfect fishing companion. Comes in a nice carry bag, folds up small cant knock it

I agree I have the mk1 and it is a great bit of kit for cooking on the bank.
