Wrap sticks in garden, know how much you have taken off as well.then take to tackle shop to recycle.

Berkely line stripper. Had mine for years. If you're only using it once a year reverse the battery or take it out when not in use.

Thats what ive always done but use a stanley blade. Cuts it into small pieces as your doing it as well.
