Just seen this so a couple of weeks late but it maybe of some use.
I have a Raymarine Dragonfly 5 fitted internally to my ND2 which I bought last year. Prior to this I had a 2 month loan of a boat fitted with a Tolson ( X Boat with factory fitted echo)
I think sonar wise it can be summed up by this little imaginary scenario:
Someone dumps an old car in a lake.
3 angler using bait boats fish the lake.
Angler 1 sends out his Baitboat with a Deeper fitted and finds the car and identifies it as a big lump on the lake bed, possibly a car.
Angler 2 sends out his boat fitted with a Tolson and after several passes confirms it's a car, possibly a small saloon or hatchback.
Angler 3 sends out his boat fitted with a Raymarine and confirms it's a car, in fact a Ford Fiesta MK2. Asked how he knows he confirms he's just read the badge on the left hand side of the boot lid.
That's the difference.
I've never noticed any difference between the two regarding having to drive slow to keep WiFi connection, in fact having the ND2 speed upgrade fitted I tend to use it at top speed. I do have an internal WiFi booster fitted though. Also one of the lakes I fish is a very shallow mere with silty bottom, average depth 3-5 foot. The Raymarine works perfectly on this lake whereas other anglers with different systems complain of sonar ‘clutter' due to the motors disrupting the sonar with false echos from the bottom in the shallow water.
Autopilot wise the Tolson is slick, spot saving is logical and easy but I prefer the ND2 totally independent GPS autopilot and it's own app, plus the fact I can use it from the app or the handset or both if I so choose.
Although this isn't a thread about actual boats, I'm taking my boat to France this year and intend doing a review of the boat, echo sounder, aotopilotetc later in the year.

I have a RT4 and last year I had the raymarine fitted,a month ago I had the toslon auto pilot fitted but haven't used this yet.
The transducer in my boat has been fitted on the outside giving much better indication of the bottom where I think most boats the transducer is fitted inside tho still giving really good graphics 👍

Hi which autopilot system did you quote for? I'm looking for options for my rt4 at the moment, have the dragonfly echo fitted but looking for a good autopilot.

Went for the Toslon 740 in the end as got a fantastic deal (way less than RRP) - basically its been solid and I can echo ALL the original comments made by Stymie on post 2 as being 100% bang on.
If you want a simple / all in one / reliable Sonar GPS Autopilot - the Toslon just works . . .
