It's a good thing many waters now have a ban on leadcore .

Couldn't agree more, add 20lb mainline and many problems will disappear. Not fishing into snags with multiple rods on alarms, especially at night. Not fishing into 10 ft of solid weed full of zebra mussels and banning lead core(plenty of good alternatives now). All would definitely help.
Question still stands. Would love to see descriptions of the rigs mentioned.
