I have now seen both the tx2 and tx4 13ft intensity rods side by side in the tackle shop.
Can't really see any practical difference in the confines of a shop and not casting them.
I did see a video where two rods (tx2 and tx5) were being cast against each other and the ranges achieved were about the same. The tx4 is supposed to have faster tip recovery and some better carbon but it's also about £40 a rod dearer.
I ended up getting the tx2 13ft intensity.

I bought a set of tx2 in 10ft and they are a very nice rod. Long, shrink wrapped handle and the blanks are smart
Paired with a set of daiwa emcast 25s.. can't go wrong
