I've not done that to be honest may give that a try if I feel I need the remote again 👍

I glued an old isotope on my remote and using a bivvy hook I hang it from the roof so its right next to my head I just reach out and press it on the red setting

so when I get to my rods I can see perfectly in the night with my natural night . vision that would be messed up if it came on with a white light so no need for lights
