I had a chub day shelter and it was much better than the Nash dwarf bivvy I had,bought it for convenience but the dwarf was rubbish,also have the chub retainer never had any issues with it

I still have a Trilite with wrap.......is still in superb condition......must be 10-11 yrs old now.......

It was the JRC STI, I had one when they came out years back.
Very well made, the mesh roof was a great idea, good all rounder and never a drop of condensation.

Bloody hell, I've got a lite bivvy never been out the bag, got it when I thought my boy might be into fishing, he isn't, feels proper heavy.

The Chub Vizolite wasn't the amazing bivvy it was cracked up to be.
The Trilite on the other hand... I bloody miss that bivvy!

Still got one of the original Chub Vizor one man bivvys, it's a fantastic bit of kit and still going strong after years of regular use. I still regret not buying the 2 man version when they were being sold off cheap a few years ago.
Also got two Outkast Small Water rods in 2.25 test which are a joy to play fish on.
Shame Chub went, as said they made quality gear at very reasonable prices.

Had the awesome rigger bag and food bag passed them down to nephew and he still using them, also had buzz bars and banksticks from their chunky stainless range they cost a fraction of the price of the top end company's and were as good quality these also used still by nephew and remain in excellent condition despite the many years use. Overall the chub brand really punched above its weight offering genuine quality for money and with some products exceptional value highlighting often the pure greed priced offerings from the more fashionable labels pocket raping from above.

They did some brilliant value products, I wouldn't put the stainless amongst them, no cheaper than decent stuff (jag excluded) and not very well done imo, the stage stands I bought had more twist points than a fidget spinner

I had some of the chunky stainless and it was fantastic for the money. I regret selling it now in all honesty. The stabilisers were brilliant and the setup was so solid.

Most JRC is crap nowadays as well... I saw it all at the pure fishing head office last year and it's shocking generic chinese rubbish.
