Yes I realise its not waterproof. I have proper goretex waterproofs for rainy days, this stuff is mainly for those cold dry winter days

6 ft 3 bud, slim build these days , i bought them to wear during the day with boots/walking boots and when i tried them on with the braces up high, the bottom of the leg was brushing the floor, i could have tightened them further but they would have still been too large. the cut of them is clearly generous presumably taking into account wearing them over clothes and movement . Really nice bit of kit though I was gutted they were too big but will get a pair of them in large once ive got the refund sorted. Im still toying with the idea of getting the jacket as well, ive since the pair for 120 in the realtree i think maybe cheaper It wouldnt hurt to have a spare at that price for the quality .

gotcha, yeah ive the snugpak ebony and the bib and braces for sat inside the bivvy , I got the snugnut hat and those snugpak bivvy boots as well but if i wore all of it i think id melt
For warmth you cant beat those clothes and they are pretty hard wearing too. Id reccomend the hat, although its a bit tight for my liking but the boots id be terrified to run out to hit a bite in those... Fine for sitting in the bivvy though. Gotta be warm or im thinking about the central heating at home.
