I've had some great hits in France with complex-T shelfies. In the Uk, my lake rules are frozen baits only so can't comment on long term use.

Think about mixing them up with a few frozen ones and/or soak some in very hot water for a short while to increase and vary breakdown time.

I agree with what you are saying about good, honest solo bait makers as i mentioned already.

I still think that the costs incurred by these guys must fluctuate considerably throughout the year if they regularly supply even a few local guys. For starters suppliers costs will also change due to any number of reasons or said supplier might not have what they normally supply. That then means sourcing the correct ingredients elsewhere and there will be a cost difference. Granted shopping about for these guys might yield a saving but then you have another factor added into the mix. Consistency.

I suppose this is why i tend to put similarly sized manufacturers into the same pot. ABS, DNA, Baitworks and Dynamite to name a few simply have to be consistent. They have the best terms with their suppliers who are probably often the one and same.

I have made bait in the past with some Haiths products and some various nut and fishmeals and aside the fact i don't think it is particularly easy it is very time consuming.

Apologies i am going on and on essentially off topic. I remembered reading favourable things about Complex-T and then nothing thus the thread in the first place.
