I no of plenty people who have had to send stuff back to fox or Nash, with rubbish service from them took absolutely ages getting there stuff back. Could say the same thing but with **** customer service all I was saying was how good delkim customer service is.
In my experience jag/ century also have brilliant customer service and it doesn't mean they have plenty of practice either

Fox have absolutely laughable customer service so its lucky that their alarms appear to be really reliable
Nash have both terrible products and service imo
A recent trip to france and 2 days of relentless heavy rain saw 2 failures on the new delkims from my group and 5 i think of the old ones. Funnily enough the only set of delkims that didnt fail at all was a set of 10 year old ones that were absolutely faultless in toilet conditions
I sold my older delkims for fox rx+'s and im really impressed with them, but to be fair i never had any issues with the delks after changing the battery covers to snag ear ones. I use zigs a lot so i prefer the vibration sensing on the delkims but it looks like they havent quite nailed it yet

Completely agree with that mate like I said I no plenty of people who have had to deal with fox and Nash customer service with horrible experiences, I've had to get my old r3s sorted by Nash was a nightmare from the start I won't even go into that haha was one of the reasons I sold them in the end because I didn't want to have to go through them trying to sort it out again if something went wrong again

What has any other brand got to do with it, the thread is about delkim, fact is the company has been producing the same product for a very long time and has after many years modified it but it would appear some customers have had issues which were apparent in the older model.

Just stating that every other company has problems but doesn't have as good customer service, I haven't had any problems with any txi new or old so I can't comment on that I also don't no anyone personally who has had any problems with them only online or forums. Now I'm not saying it doesn't happen because of course it does and I've seen enough people online that it has happened to BUT I have seen loads of people have problems with other brand alarms fox/Nash all sorts but at least delkim sort it out that's all I was saying

It does seem like these new delkims are getting quite a few faults,another thread has just been started with another issue with rain.I was close to getting the new alarms but don't think I will bother

Unfortunately people have a bias with alarms, as with all tackle, and will jump on any fault they hear in relation to products that rival what they have, and make a mountain out of a mole hill. Ive said it loads of times on here, but the amount of people who have mates that have broken this or snapped that, yet theres very rarely anyone with first hand problems. For the amount of delkims sold, the fault rate is very very low, and the customer service sounds pretty good. Luckily ive not had the need to use them myself.
Ive had the fox rx+ And the delkim txi-ds. I chose the delkims because i have always had a preference for them. Neither gave me any bother, both worked perfectly and did what was expected of them.
But because i chose the delkims, i suppose i should add that, my mates sisters best mates dad had a fox alarm, and it blew up. Crap alarms wouldnt touch them with a barge pole

I've had my txi for years and never had a problem no matter how hard it rains and also a few mates have delks and also never had problems. With the amount delkim sell your bound to get a few lemons

I'm a long time Delkim user, but missed out the TXi plus alarms - I continued to use the mk1 txi's (from new) until around 4 years ago when i switched to Atts (prior to that I had the original Delkims with sounder box leads).
I had a few water ingress issues with the mk1's (Torrential Welsh rain for over 48hrs on each occassion) and had them all (2 sets of 3), reproofed by Delkim twice over the years - Excellent service, by the way.
The Atts were faultless, but I missed the Delkim warble.
So when the new TXI-D alarms came out, I immediately purchased a set.
On my 2nd session one of the alarms went into meltdown, signalling a full blooded run after a thunderstorm, with no line movement,
Delkim replaced that alarm with no quibbles (Last June) and I have had no issues with the heads since.
Why the receiver has suddenly started eating batteries when switched off is anyones guess, but I'm sure that Delkim will sort it out in short order (returning today).
All in all, only a couple of issues in over 20 years of Delkim use in all weathers aint bad.

That can't be sniffed at tbh, and lets face it, the biggest test for a company is how they treat you after they have taken your money, which delkim seem to excel at!
People have different preferences for products but nothing is perfect and ultimately it will all break eventually

I had a couple issues with my fox alarms when I first bought them just took them back to shops. But what happens after a year? Can't take them back or get fixed for free like delkim do. Don't underestimate how important after sales care is. 3 year warranty is ridiculous for the industry in this day and age

had my delk txi for around 10 yrs had 2 isssues 1 the reciever wasnt picking the alarms up sent reciever back fixed free of charge
2nd time i had 1 of the alarms eating batteries sent it back fixed and resealed for around £20
yes Ive had a couple of issues but the after sales service is brill and i really like them and have no intention of changing them any time soon
