Had mine a year and fully loaded never been out the greenon the meter.
Pain to put up andcpack away but whats 5mins. Press and go.
Loaded correctly and wheels perfectly level mine sometimes pulls left but not end of world.
I take kit hen sink with me and have not had it out of the green power.

How many times would you be able to go around a 100+ acres pit that's reasonably flat fully loaded on a well maintained battery would you say?
Fully loaded say 75kg

Been no prestige power porters available for 6. Months, ive spoke to prestige And they dont have the parts due to covid and china. When they resume it will be the Mk 7, the Mk 6 has been discontinued.

I can understand people who want to camp in comfort while fishing, and take a big bivvy, bedchair, bbq etc. But what on Earth do you have in all those little pieces of luggage strapped to that thing that you would need just for a day?!

Well, that's twice around the pit I'm fishing at the moment. So essentially, these things are really only any good for small waters, no good for any sizeable waters unless you carry rake loads of spare batteries.

What about if you do several laps a day looking for fish and not just plotting up in a swim?
Twice around a big pit like I'm fishing and the battery is dead. Rattle around Ferry Lagoon and the battery would be dead on one lap. I'm not knocking these things as I think they're fantastic, just that they are really only limited to fishing small waters if you're actually on your toes looking for fish.

I've gotta say my battery meter has never left a green LED, I barrow around some fairly big cheshire meres and to be honest I'd probably have to enter it into the Indianapolis 500 to see a battery status change, fair enough if the barrow battery is a bit long in the tooth but anything fairly new I think you're going to be a bit unlucky for it to run flat.

How many miles would one lap be on the largest of waters you've used it on be and how many kilos worth of weight is that carrying to give some real world experience with one of these barrow's?

The water I'm currently on is two miles all the way around. Going by what Prestige are saying, their power porter will do 4 to 5 miles. I'm assuming loaded, it's what most anglers take for a few nights. If I'm having to move around a lot and find fish, two laps the battery will be dead or not far short of being dead going by Prestige's figures.
Just to be clear, I'm not digging out Prestige, in any way, I know they're the best going, I just want to know how this would work on a reasonable sized water, like 100 acres say
There was a guy on the water I'm on who's got the 24v version. I've not seen or heard of him for a long time to find out how well it works out. I do know the barrow went belly up and he had to push it back to his car a mile away.

I looked very closely at both the Prestige and Nash power barrows before I purchased one earlier this year. The Nash one is much better in my opinion, I use it on a regular basis and it's been spot on. There are other threads on this forum that discuss both. The Nash one is much easier to use and break down if you have to. I would say a power barrow is exactly what you need given your circumstances. Good luck.
