Hi guys I am looking at buying this pod base.
Question is will my Solar p1 1/2” bank sticks fit in to the 12.5mm holes

Hi - short answer is NO they will not fit. For some reason they made the holes only wide enough for the chub precession lite sticks but the JRC txs ones do fit.

Do not buy if you expect to use 'normal' banksticks as they will not work.

ps Zinno - its not crap given the right sticks the pod functions very well, made of stainless and will last a long time, and seeing as you can / could pick them up for about £30 compared to the similar Jag its a bargain

I had the original Chub pod banksticks with my chub pod base, for it's weight not a stable pod also crap to setup.

If you want you can set it up with 12mm banksticks but then you have to dare to turn the screw extra beyond the point where it is stopped, if you turn so far that the small metal piece that blocks breaks off you can tighten 12mm banksticks.

I drilled out my obelisk quad pod base to fit my banksticks, I only needed to remove a small amount.
Maybe thats also possible with this base?
